Caja del Rio is a fully-entitled 400-unit Senior Living project spearheaded by C&S in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The 28-acre site will provide a continuum of care for seniors, from Independent Living to Post-Acute Skilled Nursing Care and Memory Care. C&S Principal Jeff Stuve has developed senior living facilities in 36 states across the nation and understands the high barriers to entry that these ventures face in New Mexico. In early 2020, infrastructure improvements bringing utilities to the site were completed. The southside location is near the upscale residential development Las Campanas. This mile-high city, a world-class destination with its many art galleries, resorts, and high-end restaurants, is attracting retirees who relocate after experiencing the enchantment of “The City Different.”
